I’m an experienced piano teacher in Croydon

establishing a strong foundation in technique and musicianship for you to continue to develop as a musician and make music an important part of your life.

I’ve been teaching piano professionally since 1987, helping children and adults (from 7 to 92!) improve their musical understanding and technique. Lessons are held at my South Croydon home in a dedicated music room on a beautiful Yamaha grand piano.

I want to educate my students, to help them understand what it is they are playing and the music beyond the notes on the page.

Piano lessons, workshops and courses

Choose to attend piano lessons on weekdays or Saturdays here in South Croydon. Feel stimulated to practice and play, for enjoyment or to pass exams.

Whilst online lessons are no longer available to new students, Zoom is still an option for established students, with further workshops and courses held on Sundays for current students only.

I have clean security vetting from the Criminal Records Bureau (DBS checked).
